Exhibit at Aurora Historical Society

"Here Comes the Bride" opens Friday, June 2 from 6-9pm at the Pierce Center in Aurora, IL. This exhibit is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. See a glimpse into fashions of the past as worn by Aurora women from 1853-1976. 

In celebration of our 50 year anniversary, Wolsfelt's is proud to be the premier sponsor of "Here Comes the Bride."

The exhibit is open June 2nd - August 12th. Hours are Wed-Fri, 12-4 pm and Sat, 10 am - 4 pm. Located at the Pierce Center, 20 E. Downer Pl., 60505.

This gown on display was worn by Martha Tanner in her 1882 wedding to Rev. Charles Thornton. The wedding took place in the parlor of her parents' house (now the Tanner House Museum).
